WAXING FAQ

What kind of wax do you use?

The right wax is used for the right body part being worked on and you should experience less frequent discomfort with each progressive service.

Cleanliness?

Implements are always sterilized, and we take all precautions to maintain the highest levels of hygiene.

How often should I get waxed?

Most regular clients wax every 2-4 weeks; depending on the area you are waxing

What if I cant shower right before my appointment?

It’s always nice to feel clean when you come in for an appointment, however we offer wipes with every bikini, extended, and Brazilian wax; so you don’t have to worry about it. Don't stress, we've got you covered.

Caution! When should I NOT get waxed?

You should NEVER wax if you are on an acne medication such as accutane, steroid creams, and/or any other skin thinning or blood thinning medications. Waxing while on these medications can cause the skin to lift. Steer clear of allowing waxing to be done on any area with varicose veins, sunburned, and if you have an STI or contagious skin infection. Also, If you have undergone any cosmetic treatments such as chemical peels you may have to wait up to 6 months before it is safe to wax.

Reminder

Since everyone is unique we recommend always checking with your doctor prior to scheduling an appointment if you are taking skin-thinning medications, are pregnant (congratulations by the way!), or have any other medical conditions. Complimentary patch tests are offered if you are interested in a trial run to see how your skin reacts before undergoing a full treatment.
